reading, writing and mathematics
and helps children perform better
in other areas of life. Art is a great stress buster. Encourage
your child to express anger or
frustration through a painting to
vent his feelings.

Art improves memory - hand-eye coordination, motor-memory, emotion, short-term and long-term memory is involved. Art appreciation in children enhances reading comprehension, organization in writing, reasoning and the articulation of thoughts.
